He is the past president of the Vietnam Sri Lanka Business Council, Indonesia Sri Lanka Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Colombo Uptown, also served on the Board of Colombo Stock Exchange between 2015-2019. He is currently on the board of Securities and Exchange Commission Of Sri Lanka.
